#1. Maui Farmer's Market & Deli
With its unassuming storefront, this local place is truly a hidden gem. Right across the street from Honokōwai Beach Park, you’ll find the Maui Farmer’s Market storefront where they have a little bit of everything inside. From fresh fruits and vegetables, house made dips and seasonings and baked goods to sandwiches and giant acai bowls, there is something for everyone.
With insane amount of fresh fruit topping, generous amount of honey drizzle and by far the most acai given in the bowl out of all the places we tried, Maui Farmer’s Market is definitely my favorite spot for acai bowls on the island.
#2: Maui Fruit Ninja
I’m gonna be honest, I was not expecting this spot to make it on my list. With this acai food truck being placed along Ka’anapali beach, nestled between two resorts, it is the ultimate tourist trap. Despite all of my preconceived notions, this was some of the best acai I have ever had. It wasn’t too sweet, had the perfect amount of granola (if you know, you know) and the fresh mango on top was the perfect touch. The only thing that was not so great about Maui Fruit Ninja was the price tag – with this mid-sized bowl coming out to $16.
Bonus: They did have great banana bread loaves for sale with all proceeds going to Lahaina Strong!
#3: Kealani's Juice Co.
These acai bowls were incredible! The portions were huge and the acai-to-granola ratio was spot on. Kealani’s is a family owned acai truck business on the lawn of Marriott Maui’s Ocean Club along the Ka’anapali beach walk. We were lucky enough to chat with the family and found out that they lost their home in the Lahaina fires and just recently re-opened their business again.
If you are looking for a quick and easy acai spot where you know that you are directly supporting a local business, definitely check on Kealani’s Juice Co.!
Maui’s acai bowls at Maui Farmer’s Market, Maui Fruit Ninja and Kealani’s Juice Co. showcase the island’s dedication to fresh, healthy cuisine with a tropical twist. Whether you’re in Kapalua or Ka’anapali, these bowls offer a delicious blend of flavors and they are a popular choice for locals and tourists alike.
